We support Children & Young People with SEN & SEMH Needs in Essex and Lincolnshire.

At StandUP, we understand that every child and young person has a unique learning journey, especially those facing challenges. That’s why we provide tailored one-to-one tuition designed to meet the specific needs of students who require additional support.

To empower children and young people with additional needs to reach their full potential, whether that means successfully reintegrating into school, progressing with their individual support plan, or thriving in a flexible learning environment that works for them.

What we offer

One-to-One Tuition in School Settings: Our experienced tutors offer tailored, personal support in the familiar school environment, ensuring that students can continue their academic development while benefiting from the additional support they need to manage their SEMH challenges.
One-to-One Tuition in External Spaces: For students who need a more calming, distraction-free environment, we offer tuition in external spaces, such as quiet learning hubs or community-based locations, designed to help them focus and engage with their studies in a setting that supports their well-being.
Flexible Learning Support: Whether the aim is to gradually reintegrate into full-time school, provide part-time educational support, or offer guidance with their Individual Support Plans (ISPs), StandUP is committed to creating a plan that suits each student’s needs. We ensure the support is flexible, individualized, and progressive to help students move toward their educational goals.

How can we help?

Reintegration to Full-Time or Part-Time Schooling: Our tailored tuition services help students build confidence and the necessary skills to return to school at a pace that’s right for them.
Support with Individual Support Plans (ISPs): We can support students who require an Individual Support Plan by providing focused tuition designed to work alongside and complement their current strategies.
Enhanced Engagement: Students with SEMH needs may struggle to remain engaged in a traditional classroom setting. Through our one-to-one approach, we ensure they receive the personal attention they need to stay motivated and focused on their learning goals.
Fostering Emotional and Social Development: Alongside academic support, our tutors are trained to offer guidance and mentorship, helping students improve emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.
