TV & Film Class

Industry-focused training for the next generation of on-screen performers
Our TV & Film class gives young actors the chance to step beyond the stage and into the world of on-camera performance. It’s a space where students learn the craft, language and discipline of working on a real set — all while building confidence, creativity and practical skill.
What students learn
Why This Class Matters
Acting for camera is its own craft — subtle, focused, and deeply expressive. Our sessions help students become adaptable performers ready for auditions, professional sets, self-tapes, and future TV/film opportunities.Whether they dream of presenting, acting, or simply learning new creative skills, every student leaves with stronger communication, teamwork and emotional resilience.
A Supportive Creative Community. We keep group sizes small, encouraging collaboration and giving every student personalised feedback. Our coaches have industry knowledge and a passion for helping young performers grow in confidence, imagination and technical skill.
Our programme blends professional techniques with accessible, hands-on training. Students will explore:
Camera Angles & Technical Language
They learn how shots shape storytelling — from close-ups to wide frames — and the essential terminology used on set. “Action!”, “Slate!”, “Reset!”, and “Back to One!” become familiar parts of their toolkit.
Presenting Skills
Students practise delivering to camera with clarity, warmth and presence, developing the confidence needed for interviews, hosting, and factual or entertainment presenting.
Acting for Camera
We teach the subtle, truthful performance style required for screen work — naturalism, emotional precision, and the art of doing more with less. Students discover how even the smallest shift in expression can transform a scene.
Working on Live-Set Protocols
From understanding crew roles to hitting a mark, students learn what to expect on a professional set and how to behave with confidence and professionalism.
Indoor & Outdoor Broadcast Projects
Across the year, learners work on mini-productions filmed both in-studio and on location. They experience storytelling through different environments, creating short films, scenes, monologues and presenting reels.
